5 Months
Our darling baby girl is 5 months old now. The time is flying by! But we sure do enjoy watching her grow and discover new things. She is now rolling over and is able to wiggle and squirm all over the floor, so once you put her down on her blanket you never know where you will find her next. Here are her 5 month puppy pictures.

This & That of the last couple months
Here's a random mix of things that have been going on the last couple of months, thought we'd do a quick up to date through pictures.
We really enjoy Grandma and Grandpa's backyard, as we have never had a backyard of our own. This provides lots of summer fun! Here's Boden and his little worm friend.

Adrielle's last week of school consisted of a kindergarten music concert with songs all about animals. The students were asked to dress up as some kind of exotic animal, and our Addi girl wanted to be an Emu! I thought some black feathers would do the trick.
Missing Chile and enjoying homemade sopapillas and Mate.
Feeling a bit crafty lately, and so I started making one-of-a-kind hair ties and headbands for my big girl and other special girls in our life.
Anders and I celebrated 8 years of marriage on May 25th, and he surprised me with 6 dozen single red roses all throughout the house. And I had the joy of bundling them together in little arrangements.
Have you heard of Crayola's colored bubbles? They sound like a really neat idea, who wouldn't like to blow green and pink bubbles? So I thought we would give them a try. Turns out they are basically just bottles of soapy paint. My kids were not at all interested in blowing colored bubbles, they were more interested in making themselves "colored monsters"! Fun for one day, but I won't be buying them again.
We finally made a trip to Kansas City to see family and friends since returning to the States, we met our newest nephew/cousin Joshua Ryan, we got to hang out some with my parents as they enjoyed a little Stateside vacation from Russia, and Adrielle turned 6 years old!
Cousins meet for the first time. Joshua Ryan, born April 6th and Annika Dawn, born Feb. 8th.
Daddy's and their babies - my brother Jeremy with Josh and Anders with Annika.
PaPa and Grandma Combs lovin' on their newest grand babies.
Adrielle celebrated her 6th birthday, June 4th, while we were in Kansas City. Aunt Melissa is really good at throwing a party! Aunt Melissa and Mommy made tissue paper flowers and Uncle Jeremy and Daddy made flower balloons to decorate with. We had the birthday princess's favorite foods, hot dogs, mac N'cheese, and strawberries. We also had strawberry and vanilla cupcakes and a table full of sweet treats to decorate the cupcakes with. So much fun! We so love our Addi girl, what a precious gift she is to our family!
And most recently, our little family enjoyed a 2 night get-away up in the mountains of Brekenridge. We love playing in the mountains! Our kids really impressed us on a super huge hike we took one day. We began our hike at 10:30 a.m. and returned to our car at about 4 p.m. Our kids didn't complain and were such troopers! When we got to the top, we enjoyed peanut butter sandwiches next to a beaver pond. Here are some pictures of our hike, hanging out in Brek, as well as a friendly fox that came to say hello while we were on our balcony one evening. Gotta love the summer and it's many adventures!
