Back to School, Back to School

We're back on native soil, and, after a special time with family, it was time to get to the business of re-entry. I'm not sure if there's an order to these things, but I bet if there was we would be guilty of not following the manual. Although we don't yet know where we'll settle and what job will arise, we've gotten Adrielle enrolled and started in school. It's a great blessing that her kindergarten is quite literally in my parents' backyard. So we walk across the playground and we're there.

Yesterday Adrielle suited up for her first day of school. She's a brave girl and we're so proud of how she's taken on the challenges of transition. She was SO excited to go to school and meet new kids...that speak English! She has a sweet teacher and each detail has been blessed. Praise God!

In other news, Jess has been in for her first appointment with her new doctor. All is well with both Mommy and Baby. Today we'll be going to pre-register at the hospital where Baby Girl will be born. Also, we began discussing transportation Monday night and prayed about how the Lord would provide. Know what? The next day, Tuesday, we were totally surprised by a phone call from a family friend offering us, you guessed it, a car to use while we get settled! So, while there are many adjustments yet to be made and questions yet to be answered, we know the Lord is aware of our situation. On top of that, He's got the ability and the great love to care and to walk with us. That goes for you too you know, all you Jesus followers!

I was prompted by a friend to read again in Hebrews 11 and 12. ...Being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see...looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God...he considered him faithful who had made the promise...longing for a better country – a heavenly one...let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our...FAITH.
