Volantines

This weekend Chile will celebrate it's 200th birthday, on the 18th of September.  A part of the traditional celebrations is that the children get new kites, or volantines.  Today we enjoyed a beautiful afternoon of kite flying on a scenic hilltop.  The celebrations will continue all weekend long and so we hope to have more pictures coming of our weekend festivities.
